Indentify this bass?!

This was my first bass, played it around 2 years and bought it for a very cheap price ( I was "GIVE ME ANYTHING THAT PLAYS" - kind of a guy )

I'll never regret it ( at those days, i could never buy anything else, -> $$ ) but as the time passed the electronics got messed milion times and i had to spend really great sum of money to repair it every time. Some time ago I decided to buy a new one.
When I bought it I gave my old one to a begginer bassist ( it will check his will to play if nothing, believe me )

Well... i'll cut the crap.. I feel ashamed that I don't know what i was playing so I know it's a dumm question but could you tell me what bass I had for two years?

Beg to differ - that's not a copy of a Jazz. Just because it has a Jazz-style neck pickup doesn't make it a Jazz copy. The body shape is definitely Precision-like, but the controls are in the wrong place. What kind of bridge pickup did it have? Also, it could just be my eyes, but it looks like it might be a shorter scale, like a 30-inch perhaps?
