*The seven pin connector accepts either of two external controllers that will become available mid-May. The first has two footswitches for individual toggling of the phase circuits as well as CV/Exp inputs for rate control or manual sweep. The other has the two footswitches along with two attached treadles for rate control/manual sweep and CV outputs to allow the treadle to control other effects.

*Optional CV/Exp jacks accepts either 0-5V CV signal or passive expression pedal. When using CV, a TRS (stereo) cable is best to prevent unnecessary current draw.

Actually it looks like you'll have the option of regular Exp jacks to control the sweep, or the 7 pin foot controller jack which would give you separate footswitches for the 2 phasers as well. No idea how any of this affects pricing.
