info needed on CUSTOM true bypass loop/strips

i did a search and nothing usefull came up..im trying to make the perfect pedalboard, and i dont want just one master true bypass switch. i have a total of 7 non true bypass pedals, and i cant find a true bypass strip that has 7 switches + a master..is there any company that can do a custom job for me? i could also get one from these guys ( http://www.loop-master.com/index.php?cPath=21 ) but i'd have to get the 8 switch one with master bypass ($215..worth it..i think.)

any other options or comments?

loop-master would do a custom job for you. i have a 3 loops with tuner out and master bypass. i love this pedal and it never leaves my board no mater how many times i re-arranged it.

i compared the price of pedalboard.com and loop-master, loop-master price is lower and reasonable, but you have to wait cos it takes few weeks build time. plus brian of loop-master is very easy to deal with. give it a try.
 
They're simple enough to make.

Just use this as a reference.

Also, you don't need a loop for each pedal.
 
7 true bypass switches in a row will make more harm than good.
That's way too many wires and plugs to keep proper signal.

not neccesarily..itll have a master bypass switch to bypass the rest of the strip. its much better than leaving the signal going through something with bypass like a moogerfooger, or a wah pedal, ext ext...

i tried www.pedalboards.com, a good friend of mine told me to contact him, theyre personal friends. he never got back to me, kinda turned me off. ill look into loop-master now.
 
Does the sound of the bypass on all seven of those pedals piss you off?

I've got about a dozen pedals on my board, only four of them I'm sure are true-bypass, but only one of them noticably degrades my tone and that's the only one I bypass with a loop box. I would never entertain the idea of buying an eight-loop bypass box - that would be insane.

Ummm... that's not true at all!

A multi true-bypass switcher is actually eliminating all of the "unused" circuitry in the pedals you aren't using including any lengths of patch cables that would go between them. The small amount of cable that terminates at each tb switch is negligible compared to the amount going through the patch cables and unused circuitry of a collection of bypassed pedals (especially true bypass ones).

Now, if you want to talk about the more complex relationship between various combinations of tb pedals, buffered pedals and cable lengths - then that's a whole different ballgame! (and a complex ballgame at that)

It all comes down to understanding how different pedals operate, including your instruments circuitry and taking into consideration how long your cables are. Of course, the most important consideration is what you can actually hear, or your clients can actually identify!

A blanket statement such as "...That's way too many wires and plugs to keep proper signal..." just doesn't cover enough scenarios to have a chance of being accurate. Granted, simplest is always best, but with more complicated setups a more sophisticated switching system may be called for.

Again, it all comes down to ears & what makes the most sense for your setup. :)
