There's nothing that delights like a great design feature.

Excluding the electronics, which amp head or combo enclosures include truly thoughtful, satisfying to use features?

I'll start with the Ampeg flip-top's... flip top, the Genz Benz Shuttle's bracket/handle, and whatever your favorite rotary knob.

I always liked the slanted face and simple controls on my old Hartke 1400. IMO that was the first small, lightweight head that while not class D and/or SMPS (as far as I know) was a super portable and fairly capable design.
The slanted face is a nice design gesture. Funny though the control labels are in shadow under those interesting knobs.

My heads (See post #2, I have two same units) had that problem, but add to that, ten round shiny chrome knobs in a row, each with just a tiny little dot as a pointer that weren't even visible! Worst design evah!

The color-coded chicken heads solved that issue, now I can see where everything is at-a-glance. :)

View attachment 5094709 AK’s up-firing mid port. I can stand next to the cab and hear everything fine at a reasonable volume.
Why doesn’t everyone do this? Genius.
Up firing mids-only sounds useful for monitoring.

PJB just points a third of these drivers straight up.
Don't want to get caught in the rain with either though.
