I rented the Blu-Ray of it last night.
I really enjoyed it much more on the second watching of it. Gratuitous violence is still there, but the Italian scene and the bar scenes are still there too, as is Christoph Waltz.

Actually, the effect of the cult of personality surrounding Hitler on his followers was pretty well summed up perfectly, when Goebbels did his weeping after Hitler complimented him, calling it his 'best work ever.' That struck a chord with me, especially with the way certain political folk these days have similar CoPs surrounding them.
I know where I can get a DVD copy now for free. Might ask for that one.

C'mon, Selena, don't steal. DVDs are just as much copyrighted as CDs, and movies are as much an artform as music. The cast and crew deserve their royalties, and bootlegging movies is stealing from them. Plus it's illegal, and you could end up in a lot of trouble.
