What do you guys use to center the blocks? Just a ruler?

Care measuring. I even put light pencil lines in when I measured. I went, did each fret, then went back and re-measured. I did X and Y measurements to get as close to center as I could, or in the case of the 12th fret as symmetrical as I could. I used a tape measure that marks down to 1/16".

A ruler will work fine, but a small tape measure might be preferable since it will conform to the curvature of the neck. With a ruler, you just have to be more careful -- and make sure you have good light when you do it.

So far the two places that sell these are Creative Cuts and Inlay Stickers. Anyone have an idea on which is better? I'm just lookking for some simple pearl block inlay stickers that both places sell. They both look good on the website. I'm just wondering if one was better quality.

Hmmm........ Canucks and Flyers. Makes me want to get started on my own Red Wings themed bass real soon, lol! I will probably go to the creative cuts or inlay stickers for my Stanley Cup inlays!!
