Double Bass Innovative bow holder?

No, that's way old-school. I've done it in my youth with a cheap stick (don't tell the bow police).

I noticed that Chuck Traeger's book has a photo of him doing it in like, 1955, as another example.

The bow can rattle, and/or fall down on the tip, too, so there's another thing to worry about (just what we bassists need).

I wouldn't do it with a bow that I care about, but that's me. I am older and balder now, and know of some sweet bows that have gotten damaged carelessly...
