Innovative...

The seller’s notes for “the Ricky” are interesting; “A new neck and almost new body, but my tools slipped a couple of times so there are some scratches. A full pro set up by me in progress but I spoiled the new high G string so that one is different. New musicman bridge and a musicman humbucker... plus Marshall Amp knobs.”

Just a couple “tool slips” from being perfect, but the Marshall amp knobs should make up for that.

Also, the extended strap button on the upper horn isn’t in all pictures. I suspect it might have been on the bridge end of the body in some of the pics, but obscured from view by the overhanging bridge…..

Looks like the headless bass needs an extended strap button, or perhaps your strap goes on the E string tuning knob….

I think that body came from a warwick fortress one.
That bass should have a 24 fret neck.
The new neck only has 21, so the bridge was moved down to compensate. Of course that doesn't justify the total mess that this is. But I'm surprised that the person building this cared.

Why is there a picture of a book for sale on Amazon mixed in with the bass pics??? 🤔 😆
This guys comes up now and then on TB. All his eBay and Reverb ads contain plugs for his books. I hope his writing is as good as his craftsmanship.

My favorite part was that he overtightened the truss rod so that the first 5 frets buzz, but he’s happy that all notes above the 12th fret are crystal clear.

That's amazing. I didn't even bother reading the description after being terrified by the pictures and the random book plugs.

Omg. And the pictures...
The bridge hanging off the bass!
The headstock!
The tuners!
The nut!
The weird indents between ever fret on the neck!
The unreasonably long strap peg!
The extra pot hole!

I'm almost curious about the books now. Almost...
