Input needed on my quest for effects

Hey guys and gals I have been looking into getting a pedalboard,Im sure there will be many opinons but seriously thinking a Boss GT10B is the answer?Would be used on some covers and some originals.Just seems to make sense to get a board than single effects?Any ideas opinons greatly appreciated.Hoping for positive influence not a salesmans pitch THANKS:help:

yurp. multi efx are a very smart way to start figuring out wha you want, if it's enough, what you like enough that you pick up the single pedal better version of.

that's a good 'un, Line6 M5 and M9 are also surprisingly good multi's (kinda hated all the Line6 before those).

cheap (used is cheapest), great bang for your buck dip your toe into efx approach.

While I would say I prefer the Boss GT10-B to the Line 6 guys (JMO).....the Line 6ers seem to have a better resale value in the classifieds....and are more often found there. So if you're looking for a guy you'll be with for a decently long amount of time....my vote is GT10-B...if you're just looking for a 6 month venture in FX to start your journey, go Line 6 M series.
