Inspiration

Hey Janek I was wondering where you find inspiration to continually practice and develop your technique. I've playing for about 4 /5 years now and I find myself losing the passion I once had. Learning new songs are so difficult that I just kind of give up and mess around the same stuff I know. I really would like to develop my ear and playing for jazz, but the material sometimes feels overwhelming. what do you think?

I know where you're at for sure, I've been there lots of times. But I find the best thing to get inspired is often to get as far away from the music as possible until you really want it again. And then when you really want it you're going to go back to it so strongly and honestly that you will grow more in that time than ever before.

Then.... just copy, paste, and repeat..... and always try and be inspired by whatever it is you're working on. Don't ever force yourself to do something you're not into.

Easy,

Janek
