Double Bass Installin a pickup on my upright bass...

Im in Maggie Valley, Nc and lookin for someone to install my fishman external-it mounts up on the bridge-pickup and asap...I got a gig on saturday and the nearest I see is asheville, so i would ike to get a appointment tommorrow and pick it up friday sometime...anybody know anyone who does this stuff? I got one name but no other names have shown up or they are simply guitar stores....thanks!

If it's the BP100 you can do it yourself:

The two elements that are faced black on one side and copper on the other go between the strings on the top face of the bridge. The little clips slide on to hold the elements in place. Make sure the copper side is facing DOWN and is in good contact with the wood of the bridge.

The wire passes through the "wing-hole" on the side of the bridge, and continues towards the string after lengths.


Mount the 1/4" jack between the string after-lengths.
