Installing EMG PJ set on a Fender aerodyne

I am thinking about it but I heard the emg J pickup is bigger and needs some work to fit in is that true? Also Is there enough room for putting a battery?
I dont own an aerodyne yet but I am about to purchase it and change the pickups to emg set, thanks.

When you get the Aerodyne, measure the J pickup. If you need the smaller J pickup, I believe you can order EMG PJ sets with a short (or Spector) sized J pickup.

I actually have come across this question myself as I'm looking at maybe getting one but I do not like the pickups at all and want to switch 'em out but not sure if a 9v battery will fit in the cavity in the back or not. Anyone come across this??

The control cavity rout is narrow - not sure it would accommodate larger size pots.

All the dimensions for EMG pickups are on the site and are spot on.

Measure your pickups and then check on the EMG site.
