Installing Tone Capsule in Spector

Hey all! Quick question and hopefully a quick solution...

So, I just purchased the DG tone capsule to replace my 1st gen tone pump. I want to run it in a 4 knob configuration with out drilling any extra holes. Question: Is there a way I can run both J style EMG pups to one volume knob? And if so how would I wire that up?

Thanks for the help, definitely not a super tech savvy person.

Well yes. There’s no point in not using the pots that DG supplies. Those control the three bands of EQ. I mean you could swap them out for EMG pots, but there would be no practical advantage to that.

I thought the question was using an EMG pickup and volume control (or a pair and a blend) going into a DG.

You should be able to do that. Do you have a pup selector switch? If so, the volume knob would control whichever pup was selected, or both. If not, your single volume knob would need to be 2 volume knobs stacked if you wanted to blend the volume of each pup, else a single pot would only control both pups.
