Double Bass Instructors near/in coastal NC?

May be making the move to Swansboro for a job.

Sort of a nowhere area.

Are there any instructors anywhere near this area. And by near I mean within 2 hours?

Other than what Chris suggested, unfortunately, no.

But I do know that YOU GOTTA GET A TEACHER. Picking this up without getting the right mechanics first is killer.

I grew up in Morehead City, about 45 minutes from swansboro. I studied with a guy in New Bern named Tom Dunton. Your best bet would be someone from UNCW or ECU. The area is pretty stripped of string players though tbh. Best of luck!
