That's pretty wild. You don't have issues with frets getting sprouts or lifting or things of that nature?

No, the frets have been really solid. On another note, they make the fretless boards exactly the same height as the top of fret would be, so technically the fretted is thinner (minus the frets). It was very well thought out.

Ya, that's definitely well thought out. Surprised nobody's tried to bring it back, but I'd bet costs today would be pretty prohibitive for the small market it would serve. Maybe I'm not so surprised after all
