Interested in Semi Hollows

Have long been curious about the more recent Gretsch 6073 (MIJ). Have never run across one in the flesh so haven't played one.

A gentleman on the Guild website was just told by Sweetwater that the Starfire II has been discontinued.

By the look of their inventory this could be true. The SPG factory in South Korea that built them was closed down in February.
Yamaha Guitar Group owns Guild and hopefully they will bring back mfg to the states. Japan would be good too.

Sweetwater blew out their inventory about a month ago, which is when I bought mine. It appears the flamed maple may still be in production. A bunch of other sellers still have them for the old prices.
