Interesting Keisel Icon...

I wonder if someone at Keisel reads this forum on a regular basis...
I remember making a comment about the company NOT doing certain pickup choices on certain models...kind of un-custom for a custom builder. I remember specifically mentioning that if they offered the Icon with dual MM pickups, I'd be all over it.
Well I perused their Icon gallery just now, and low and behold...

Now they just need to add coil tap switches...
Is it time to put my money where my mouth is?

If you are familiar with what that pickup and preamp configuration will sound like, why not? Coil splits are pretty easy to add in after the fact... (Or are you thinking of custom ordering?)

I for one think those Carvin MMs sound great with the right pre, which unfortunatey doesn't include the stock one in most of the Carvin basses I've tried. But if you know you like it, go for it!
