I'm a fan of Lamb of God, but not most pits.

This pit was pretty awesome though, it really worked the crowd.

I once saw a pit, where there was a line of pretty beefy guys at the edge. Kids would run straight at them, and the guys would HURL the kids over their heads behind them. Just launching them like a living springboard, sending kids crowdsurfing.

That was freaking awesome. I used to mosh at shows, but it was nothing like that. I would have to imagine that there would be a LOT of people getting hurt in a pit like that. It was an all-out battle.

Moshing is only really fun when you're doing it for the sake of having fun. When you're just trying to hurt your fellow concert goers, it loses a lot of appeal to me. That's part of the reason why even though I play in a hardcore band, I don't really like going to hardcore shows that much. The annoying "tuff" guys crowd bopping and slamming into people who just want to watch the band really ruin it for me.

I think moshing, wall of deaths and hardcore dancing are pointless. The point of a concert is to enjoy the music, not hurt yourself or look dumb.

Circle pits are boring and really pointless, it's always the same thing. This pit.... was.... well... crack whore crazy.
