no DSP effects units at the moment, all my effects are plugins. I am planning on buying a DI box next just for the tonal qualities, but I've settled on the RNDI.

I've been replacing my cables with Mogami Gold. It surprised me how much noise can come in through the cables. Pretty expensive but well worth it it.

I don't suppose you have recordings before and after cable swaps?
Nobody ever does, but eventually maybe someone will.

My first act of troubleshooting would have been to fire up the Mac Mini, hook up the interface and tested the signal.

Glad that ended up being the issue and it’s good now.

I’ve got a long to-do list at the moment. I’ll look into it later. Also I’m still researching the problem on my setup and wanna make sure what I’m demonstrating is correct.
