Internal Amp Buzzing

So, yeah, I play a bxl900 behringer combo, and I actually like it a lot, great tone, unless you blast it all the way. Sadly, whenever I play G string 12th fret or D string 5th fret I get this internal buzzing, which Im positive is from within the amp. So is there anyway to fix this, or do I just have to live with it?

Hi.

Symphatetic resonances are quite common. Does the sound come from the speaker(s?) also?

If it's a mechanical resonance, You can try to loosen/tighten all the screws you can find. If that doesn't help, You'll have to dig in deeper .

Um, problem is im not sure exactly where the buzzing is coming from within the amp, ill go tighten every screw i can find now, brb.

ok, i just tightened like 25 screws, its still there. :-/
what should i look at first?

Hi.

After looking at the sales pic of the product, it looks like Uli re-invented the screw .

I'd start with the handle, then removing the grille, then the speaker and finally the amp section.

Remember that doing so You'll void the warranty and if poking around inside the amp without knowing what you're doing, you may hurt yourself.

If the resonances are coming from the cab frame, try to put some weight on the panels = stand on it or use clamps, to see if any joints are loose.

Happened to me years ago on a borrowed combo. Took the grillcloth off and tightened all the screws around the speakers. It went away.

Ok, so when I do this, where exactly are the cab frames in the amp, and are the joints like on the corners of the amp? (sorry like i said I'm a newbie)

Hi.

No problem, my terminology may not be dead accurate either.

The frame is the panels that make the cab, the joints are the glue (? ) joints that keep them together.

If a glue joint separates, it allows some movement between the panels and a buzz is a result.

Ok, so to fix this I would need to put more glue on it or something?

Ok, so I took the speaker grill and all the screws out of the speaker, and of course I can't take the speaker fully out because of the wire connecting that and the electronic portion of the amp. I checked all of the corners, and they all seem to be tight. So where do i go from here?

Hey guys, I'm still having an issue with the buzzing...should I just try to live with it or is there something else i could do?
