im fairly new to jazz and i already know my 3rd and 4th intervals and i was wondering what intervals i should use for bop style and fusion style solos

check out roy vogt's and jeff berlin' threads......the direction is more in line with getting into chord tones

Yes read the threads that apply but consider getting into an intro improv. class with beg. jazz theory. the way to learn jazz is to do jazz.....Just like rock in that way.....
