Interview with Tony Franklin

interesting stuff.

so it was him with Kate Bush & David Gilmour playing "Running up that hill" live- IIRC he was playing a Jaydee fretless?

also of note in the Mo Foster interview-
"have mixed feelings about Jack's (Jack Bruce) fretless playing. He clearly loves it, but I still remember the visceral excitement of the sound he made on his fretted EB3. Fretless is very hard to pitch accurately and I think Jack drifts a bit occasionally - especially when he's singing, which must be so hard."

- I agree, his intonation at the Guitar legends festival (1992?) was sloppy.
