Intro . . .

New member here . . .

Been playing bass for about 7 weeks now, but have been playing guitar for a very long time, so bass is coming easy to me . . . it's just learning to play "the in between stuff" that I'm working on.

My entire family of bass/guitars is all Fender:
-2006 Fender Am/Se Jazz Bass, sunburst, rosewood
-2004 Fender Am/Se Stratocaster, black w/maple f/b
-2003 Fender Am/Se Telecaster, natural, maple f/b
-1976 Fender Custom Tele, bound-body sunburst, maple f/b
-Many pedals and a Korg AX3000G multi-effect
-Best add on:Tech 21 SanAmp Bass Driver DI

Others:
-2005 Simon & Patrick Showcase CW, acoustic-electric
-1976 Yamaha acoustic FG-180

Amps:
-Modified Fender Blues Junior
-Traynor YCV-80Q
-Kustom Sienna 65 acoustic amp
-No bass amp yet, but am looking and have narrowed the search to GK 700RB-IV/210 or an Eden Nemesis NC-210 (Comments on my choices???)

Music:
-Blues
-Rock and Roll
-Dabble in Jazz
-Christian/Christian Rock

Play guitar in a Blues/R&R band and guitar and bass in a local church Worship and Outreach bands!

Howzit Vince - nice to 'meet' someone else who has a FG 180, mine is a 70/71 (has the red Nippon Gaki sticker) - still plays and sounds like a dream.

Yea, that's still a great guitar. I want to keep it for a longtime to come . . . have had several offers for it.

I use Martin 10-46's on it just to protect the neck - from warping if anything! It sounds nearly as good as my higher $$$ guitars.
