introducing the bass player riff

For fun, I have used the bass line from Get out of my dreams (get into my car) by Billy Ocean, for 80s recognition :)

For rock/metal I'd go with the first bars from Run to the Hills (Iron Maiden) or Got the Time (Anthrax) or something.

Although Imperial March is never wrong!

I do anesthesia pulling teeth but thats more than 4 bars haha id recommend slapping immigrant song as hard as u can or play something real soft for a little and then just shred but im really one of those ppl that cant play guitar so they play bass not cause i dont have the skill but because i have hands that make gorrilas feel emasculated and dont fit guitar so i play 6 string bass so my hands have room plus bass has way ballsier solos if done correctly

I like the TV thing.... I'll play the opening riff from the original "Star Trek", "Barney Miller", or "Night Court". Signature bass lines, and people always recognize them and react.
