Absolutely. I put my depleted batteries in piece of Gladware and bring them to my local transfer station where they have a hazardous materials area for batteries. The people there inspect them before accepting them. Incidentally, my local fire department suggests applying a piece of electrical tape to the contacts of depleted 9-volt batteries to reduce the risk of fire.If you go the AAs route you're likely to go through a lot of batteries. Please take care to dispose of them properly. They do not belong in the garbage.![]()
I’m disappointed by the weight of the Phil Jones Briefcase. 30lbs. is not terrible but I would rather have it be lighter. The Markbass Minimark 150/250W combo has two 6" speakers and weighs 20.72 lbs. 150w @8 ohms; 250w @4 ohms (by adding any 8 ohm cabinet) but it lacks the battery option. The cost is similar to Briefcase Ultimate.
