I also noticed the thinness of the amp when brought into JamUp.. it's being posted all over by guitarists and bassists on Facebook also, both at PG and the Jamup/Bias group. For now, I am just playing around with BIAS and trying to absorb it all.. surely a fix will come

Yeah, I was worried that the iPad version I'd been using might have been doing the same thing, because I'd yet to play it out live. So I plugged it into my PA here at home and it sounds the same in BIAS or in JamUp. Which is good, because I've got a pickup gig in a week at wanted to use the amps I'd created in BIAS for it.

My amp wasn't just thin when I imported it to Jamup, it was full out distorted, too. Like a distortion pedal was attached.

The amp in BIAS sounded great.

For me, some seem OK, others are bad as reported by many.

Cant seem to find why that might be.

Had a jam night the other night so used the ipad and jamup straight into the pa, sounded great and helped me get a gig with a blues guitarist.

Additionally I can highly recommend the Digitech iStomp for use on a pedalboard

Anyone else notice increased pops/clicks since the last JamUp upgrade? Turned off ultra low latency and killed all the other apps, still happening. Could be my headphones/iRig I guess...

I'm hearing it too, and I've never had any problems with Jamup. I'm hoping it's part of the bug fix when it happens.

I do on the Touch. The pops are annoying. It's worse when you're tuning.

When I take an amp from bias into jamup on the iphone 4s, it sounds like a phasing problem. Very weird.

Hi folks - I was trying to skim through the zillion or or so posts in these IOS threads and may have missed what I was looking for, so maybe you can direct me to the answer.
I am looking for a digital interface (using Jamup most likely) for live use, that also provides power to the ipad. Is there such a thing? The Line6 Sonic port looks good, but it doesn't look like it can also power the iPad.

Plan "B" would be to use an audioInvalid Link Removed in addition to a 30pin charging cable, but I have a feeling that might be a little noisy. Maybe it wouldn't be an issue for live use though.

Any suggestions?

I am currently using a Line6 PodXT Live with the bass pack add-on, and it is working very well, but I'm ready to make my live rig even smaller... better... lighter... funner...!

I went into all this about 10-20 pages back in thread 6. I even tried to splice cables. You'll find a lot of info back there.

Short version:
No, not without going to the bigger iODock or StudioConnect. Something's coming out in the spring that may fix that though.

Hello all.

I'm pretty new to the iOS music world and iOS bass effects. I have been playing around with sounds on JamUP and Bias. I would like to hear of some other successful apps that can provide bass effects, preferably for live use. So far I have had success with:

JamUp
Bias
Master FX
LiveFX
Turnado
AUFX: DUb
AUFX: Space

Any recommendation of other apps would be helpful. Also, has anybody out there been able to find a way to make a good sounding bass synth sound through any app?

Apologies if this subject has already been discussed. I've sifted through many of the pages and could not what I'm looking for.
