Ummmmm....we are talking about iron ether pedals, no? The prices that they are selling at these days really seems to be the only thing to talk about...and that's going to be the only thing to talk about for the foreseeable future.

Anyone else use a Subterranea with a high pass filter at the end of the chain? I just added a Broughton H+LPF to my board and ohhhh boy does this clean up nicely.

I use a dubt with an always on hpf at the end, the hpf sounds really good set right and really bad when set wrong.

I use an FMeron which also outputs huge amounts of low end and tidy it up with the HPF in my Broughton Messenger at the end of the chain.

Gotta love IE synths/octaves and Bro filters.

By wrong do you just mean setting the freq too high? I got mine set at around 35 /40 (bit of a guess on the Messenger).

Makes a noticible difference but not much, after all the instrument isn't called Bass for no reason.

The one I'm using the most these days is the Dubterrograph. That thing is so bada$$ for synths, octaves, and filter. I use it with an expression and use it for all the sounds.

I also have an XD deluxe that hasn't seen much time since I got the Dubterrograph.

Haven't hit my stride w the Arcing Prisms in a jam situation beyond using it for weird sounds but that thing is super fun to screw around with.

FMeron is still new and not integrated. I had a hard time bonding w it in the past. I wanted it to be something it wasn't. Oxide is on the side at the moment in favor of the Maestro...but I've been grabbing the oxide a lot as my dirt of choice for experimenting w some other pedals.

The IE stuff does so well on bass...

Dubt into xerograph (I don’t have the combined unit) is a masterpiece for sure. The FMeron is a super cool sound, it’s just a little annoying to tune. Once it’s locked in, it’s awesome, and making it out of tune is fun on its own. Wish I had an arching prisms to try, but haven’t really heard much in terms of sound samples that makes me have to have one.

I've started looking into a new interface to record as my Focusrite Scarlett has bit the dust for some unknown reason a couple of weeks ago. Once that's sorted out I'll definitely try to record something!

I’m too stupid to use the divaricator

I'm also not sure how I'd use the Divaricator though!

I've been using the Divaricator as an inline effect. It took a long time to figure out, but it's such a sick pedal that I don't see myself replacing it.

Right now the only exciter I use is the Growl switch, so it acts as an overdrive for anything in my signal above the low mids. I also dial in the Low to about 1:00 to boost my uncolored low end alongside the growled-up midrange. Clean knob is set around noon.

[This invalid link has been removed]. I've also got a Cascade CE-2 clone before my preamp dialed in kinda slow at about 25% wet, and a Two Notes Le Bass in cold fusion mode with a little bit of tube hair. Bass used is a Maruszczyk Frog Omega 5a with a Phil Jones BP-800 set flat.

My next step is to put the Chorus and a few other pedals into the exciter loop and experiment. On its face it seems like a complex pedal but if you start by using it in the simplest manner possible (an inline overdrive, reverb, or octave up, with a crossover) then you'll get really nice results really quickly.
