Finally took the plunge and sourced a SubT.
Not sure if the guy was aware what he had, but I guess I bought #3 from this run! Small consolation for no box/manual

I haven't tried it on bass yet, but initial testing on guitar does give me quite a bit of hope that this will have a much better time tracking my instrument than the DubT did.

Also, am I crazy or is the sawtooth and squarewaves reversed or something? I know the way the waveforms are produced in this pedal are not your standard oscillators, so it could be a quirk of that, but to me they sounded swapped. I vaguely feel like I remember reading something about that here, but also could be completely off base.

Wow, amazing find! One of the very OG Subterraneae ever produced. It's one of the best tracking octave pedals I've ever had the pleasure to play; goes cleanly all the way down to F (not that it sounds musical to me below B/Bb). And fast, too! It can be dub reggae heaviness, Mu-Tron style aggressive octave, or a huge synth wonderland. Amazing pedal. Of everything I have on my board, it's absolutely the one I'd grab in the hypothetical house fire situation where I only get to keep one pedal.

I like the different wave forms on both dubt and subt, but just couldn't jive with either octave, although the analog subt is much better than the Dub, imho.
