Iron Ether: Nimbus Bass Reverb

Hi Taylor,
I'm very pleased with the Nimbus I bought you a few months ago. I really like the subtle or huge reverbs it can create. It's just great.
Something still makes me wonder: there's a" loud pop" occurring each time I activate/deactivate the effect.
It's the same if it's in the pedal chain or the pedal alone. It always happens.

What do you think about this ?

IE makes so freakingly fine sounding bass pedals that I've thrown away some of my older pedals and replaced with Xerox, Subterrenae and Nimbus.
Nimbus is absolutely the best of the bunch, it adds immediate touch of right reverb to the bass.
It can't be fully replaced by other reverb pedals, although I compared it with half dozen of great digital reverbs.
It is simple and exactly does what is needed. Such a great balance of functionality, simplicity and high quality.
Iron Ether and Chase Bliss are my two favorite pedal makers.

I have since purchased a second Nimbus to do a near infinite reverb, in addition to my original Nimbus for a larger plate reverb sound. I have dubbed them "The Nimbi" (nim-bye).

Easily one of my favorite pedals of ALL TIME!

Every time? I have a similar issue when I first activate my Nimbus, but it stops. I usually keep my tuner muted and turn the pedal on/off a few times before getting going and that typically solves the issue. I don't know exactly what causes it, but that usually takes care of the pop.

thread resurrection time.

Just got a Nimbus from a fellow TB member here. I'm pretty impressed. It's an amazing pedal and Im really digging it.

My main reason for wanting it was to add just a touch of reverb to my sound. While I like a dry bass signal, I like it more when bass has just a touch of reverb on it.

Below is a photo of how I have it set to add just a small amount of reverb. Actually photo below isn't all that accurate. I have the room size dialed back a little more and the clean knob turned all the way up but the other settings are spot on.

Those that use only a little bit of 'verb, how do you have yours set?

I may actually end up getting another one to add to my pedal board so that I can generate larger reverbs as well without reaching down to tweak the knobs.
