Iron Ether: Nimbus Bass Reverb

Used my Nimbus a great deal last night. Played an amazing gig at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston. The pedal was stunning. It sounds different than any other reverb I've used before. I honestly wasn't sure I'd like it when I first plugged it in. Using it live has fixed that. It does exactly what I was hoping it would do. It's very intuitive to use. I can get a bunch of different usable sounds out of it and can tweak them on the fly very quickly. My only gripe is that the knobs are useless on stage. I can't see the little black lines on the top of the knobs. I'll have to see if I can get some different knobs for it. I highly recommend the pedal though.

whats up guys i have been gone for a while but havnt stopped playing...

i run my zeibek giminidrive>keeley comp>nimbus with these settings its awesome

really worth checking out
any high gain overdrive or distor or fuzz
to the nimbus will suit
room size 1or2 oclock
filter at 8 or 9 oclock
clean 7 or 8 barley on
rever at 3 or 4 oclock

give a really BA swell/violin like sound just cant explain it...

The Nimbus does not do reverb tails when you bypass the pedal. It's not realistically feasible to have tails and true bypass at the same time - the tails function requires the effect to always be on, while only switching the input but leaving the effect output connected at all times, so by definition it won't be true bypass.

Polytope and Nimbus on accompaniment, Nimbus on melody. Excuse the poor playing: On My Way by Musicfreak1988 on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free

Wow. Nice tones. Maybe I'm late to this party, but is there a big difference "live" between the Nimbus and the TC Hall of Fame? I was leaning towards the TC, after hearing this clip. (Love the Jaco tone starting at 2:10.)
