Iron Maiden 2016

Who's going? I have floor tickets and will be taking my little sister with me. Anybody got a clue of what songs they might be playing?

I wish, I'm going to be out of town when they play in Tacoma, I've seen them twice and they are epic.... lol how young? Maiden mosh pits can get intense.... I'm assuming a lot of stuff from Book of Souls, along with the classics like The Trooper, Powerslave, Aces High, etc.

This will be my fourth time seeing them or fifth can't remember. It's a 3 and a half hour drive hopefully we'll be back by 2 am. And she's 16 and we will go when she gets back from school.

I'm going to see them in Vegas with my wife and daughter. I'm very excited!

I've got ticket's to see them in April. I'm sort of exited. I lived and breathed Maiden when I was a teenager (middle eithties) but missed the chance to see them back in the day. I did stop listening to them after live after death....Just couldn't get on with the newer stuff. I finally got a chance to see them a few years back for the brave new world tour and I was sort of "meh" about it all. Kick the (new) third guitar player out and play only stuff from Number of the Beast to Powerslave.....then I'd be exited.

OMG, insane show! It was so hard getting in...opening band was done when I got inside.

What not playing rime, wrathchild,murders in the rue mourge, or ides of march...
The new material is meh, but I'd wager the "show" is still massive, set changes gas canons, killer light show etc.
I saw them 30 times from killers through all 4 nights at the Long Beach Arena, which became live after death.

Of the new songs they're playing, the only one I think is meh is Death or Glory. I really like The Red and the Black.

A friend of mine is trying to convince me to go to the michigan show but I don't like seeing the same band twice during the same tour since I know what to expect.

Maiden is posting cool updates and travel logs about the tour on their FB page if you are so inclined to follow them.

They revealed their set list before the tour started on their page one song at a time.

What were the ticket prices for the US shows? I saw the Europe shows are in the 100 euros range.

With the fees and everything, my tickets were about $95 each.

Well, the show last night was fantastic. Great music, great props, and Steve Harris playing that awesome bass intro and outro in The Red and the Black.

Seriously, he's a machine! They played The Red and the Black (about 13 minutes), The Trooper (brutally fast and precise), and then Powerslave (another 7 minutes) back to back to back...no break.

So you were one of the few who actually lives in Las Vegas?

I was trying to figure that out. It seemed like people were not understanding what he said, and were just raising their hands and yelling, because there was a lot of crossover between the "live in Vegas" and "visiting Vegas" people. It was still awesome to see the casino and shops flooded with people wearing Iron Maiden gear.

Were you there? Did you see me? I was that one guy in that one section with the Iron Maiden shirt.
