Is a Barefaced cab the best for light weight / high volume?

Used a few that were provided and the bass players that owned thought they were great although one thought they weren't robust...
he didn't have any problems with that but he felt it would fall apart if he dropped it.
TBF, I'd be more concerned about the chassis than the actual and no cabs like being dropped.
Sound wise, they were ok..nothing spectacular. I didn't think I needed to rush out and get one.
If you can pick one up at a decent price, might be worth a punt if you can get your money back.
People think they are very desirable...and therefore the price should be steady.
I see lots for sale so they seem to passing through people's hands.
