Is a single Berg 2x12 enough without pa support and in jam sessions? Was thinking of pairing a svt cl and a Berg? Should I grab 2 used Bergs instead of one new one? If so what older models I see there is quite a few? I was thinking I was going to go new mostly for the fact that I dont have a head yet to test any used purchases. What do you guys think?

Is a Berg NXT 2x12 Enough?

I use an NXT212 with an Orange AD200 and barely need the Orange turned up. Maybe Gain and Vol on 4.

How about a show with pa support only for vocals? Like outdoor gigs and local halls?
I had done a few gigs with two 1x12 Bergies, including an outdoor event under a large tent. In the past 12 months, I have used a Mesa Subway 2x12 a few times in medium-sized venues (100-150 people) with no problems.
My Berg CN212 was very loud, and I added an AE112 for the stupid loud and outdoor gigs.
I'd expect the NXT212 to be just as good. I'd also have an NXT112 for modular flexibility.

Admittedly I have not done one but knowing how it goes at rehearsals with only a vocal PA I don’t think you’d have any issues.
