I've been playing through a G-B Shuttle 6.0 or 6.2 for years. I don't intend to EVER let go of it. I have the 6.2 docked on a 12T speaker cab, and I have a 2x10 (210T) cab to connect if I wanna go wild.

But I'm looking for a 8" or 10" Shuttle cab for even more portability. My bands are relatively low volume and I don't really even need the 12" to handle it. I also am planning to add an NS design electric upright, and for that an 8 or 10 would work great.

Light and portable are two of my favorite words when it comes to bass gear.

Same here, (although I don’t have the matching extension cab). This is my church and small rehearsal rig. I’ll played it more than any of my other amps!

I recently picked up a used GBE 1200. What a freakin monster! And it has these teeny little handles to try and haul it around. Other than those worthless turds, this is a pretty kick ass head.

The handles on the GBE 750 & 1200 are intended to aid in rack mounting only. Once the amps are properly rack mounted, the handles are not needed. These kinds of amps should always be rack mounted.

I just picked up a Shuttle 6.2 in unused condition. It's a perfect addition to my small-amp stable.
I'm going to use it this weekend for a musical theater gig. (Legally Blonde! OMG!!)

I'm in, I have a 3.0 I use as a headphone amp for in house pratice, and a 6.2 and a 9.0
that go on the gig. Of late I have been using the 6.2 more than the 9.0, there is just
something about it. Andy, you guys really nailed that update when you released the 6.2.
The only complaint that I ever have heard is from photographers, the blue lights
tend to dominate their pics. I have had to put tape over the lights. I have to admit that
I have been getting an itch to try a Streamliner.

I’ve posted part of this rig before but am relying on my Ampeg more and more for bass guitar. I just love the tone of that head...
With the band Im recording an album with, I play a fair amount of gear... bass guitar, midi Taurus pedals, acoustic guitar, and keys and have settled on the SVT (single amp) and/or with the Mesa (two amps) for bass guitar tone (with two amps, the SVT is set for a bit of grind and the Mesa is set clean)... my midi Taurus pedals are running through the GB SM 9.2.
Cabs are two Uber 115’s and two Uber Quads.
I am going to pick up a new Genzler 410-3 soon for bass guitar as it sounds like it can easily push the same amount (if not more) air than two of my Ubers.
