Me, I'm at the end of my rope, but I'm hanging on. Gotta start getting cleaned up and in better shape afore it's too late....

I had french toast , bacon and good coffee for breakfast while watching CBS Sunday Morning. The world is a fine and sunny place!

To prepare the french toast, I used the 1950's "mid century modern" GE griddle I inherited from my mom. I did a lot of scrubbing to get the griddle surface so clean, but it works fantastic!

I guess some of the frustration you are seeing stems from the fact that, at best, this forum can be a wonderful tool for education and community building. It very often isn’t that.
The endless threads on P vs J, what color pickguard? what flats should I buy? Etc. become very tiresome.
End of the day, this forum is social media and the best way to not get annoyed is to limit your exposure to it.

I’m doing great!

I’m 58 years old and my band Lips Turn Blue is about to release our debut album! Our singer passed away just as we were finishing recording. He was incredibly proud of this project. We promised him we’d get it out and it’s happening. We have a great record company and a fantastic manager behind us. One of my musical heroes, who I don’t know and have never met, even went out of his way to send an email saying nice things about my playing on the record.

it’s been hard and we’ve face so many hurdles trying to get this record released. The lesson is Don’t Give Up. You never know what kind of positive things are right around the corner.
