Is Geddy Lee the most likeable guy in Rock?

I had a couple of friends meet him and Alex after a show back in the late 80's/early 90's. They said that both of them were extremely nice and gracious, and gave both of them Big Money. Big Money being oversized, novelty dollar bills, each with one of the band members' face on it.

I had the opportunity to meet Geddy and Alex on the Hold Your Fire tour. Really nice guys. I managed not to fanboy too much as I was there professionally. At least I like to think I did.

I would also consider Geddy and Billy the joint best rock bassists in the world, so it seems being a nice guy is the key to being a great rock player, along with years of hard work and practice!

I never had any interaction with Geddy Lee, but had some contact with Billy Sheehan at a clinic. He was super nice and humble.

There are a lot of guys who come across as really cool. Geddy, definitely. Check out G.E Smith on youtube. He has a bunch of video stories about the people he's met and worked with. One of the best story tellers I've ever heard because he is so chill and nice. I feel like I could just listen to him talk forever.
