Is Geddy Lee the most likeable guy in Rock?

I have had this same exact thought about Geddy and Alex.

I also thought Peter Buck (REM) was always pretty cool. But in a different way of course.

Geddy seems like a great guy. I'd nominate Billy Sheehan as the nicest guy in rock. He always has time for his fans and seems really grounded and happy. Just a great guy, who makes great music.

I would also consider Geddy and Billy the joint best rock bassists in the world, so it seems being a nice guy is the key to being a great rock player, along with years of hard work and practice!

I will always kick myself for missing an opportunity to go see a Mr. Big / Rush bill back in the day.

I did catch Mr. Big on their first tour, and yeah, Billy (and the rest of them) are super-nice. Talked to his tech for probably 30 minutes, then the band hung around with everyone for a good 10-15 as well.

As to the OP, I've certainly never heard anything cross about Geddy. He & Alex are pretty private (not as much as Neil), but always seem to be great when they do interact.
