that I have a Spector NS/2004, Fender 62 Jazz Reissue and a Lakland 55-01 and I can't put down the Lakland? Thinking of selling the others but know if I do I'll miss them. Really thinking about letting the Spector go though. But this Lakland is balls out and it's not even the middle priced one. Plus that low end B growl's the sheet maan'

Spectors aren't bad, never been my thing, Stuart is a great friend and super cool cat...

The Lak and the Fender is going to be the real work horses if you can hold on to them.

Getting my 55-01 pretty much eliminated bass GAS for me. I don't think I'll be needing another bass.

Thanks for the replies yo! You're right I probably would regret selling the jazz. I do have a 71 precision which I don't play too often just cause the music doesn't really call for it right now, but I will NEVER sell that. Just in love with this Lakland at the moment.

Yeah, the Lakland love will die down over time. Not to say you won't like it anymore, but you'll reach a point where its not the ONLY bass in the world even if its still your favorite one. When that happens, I hope you still have the Jazz lying around. I like Spectors, but if you like the Lakland that much, you probably don't need a Spector too. The 55-01, the Jazz and the P sounds like a VERY nice arsenal to me.

I feel ya, I sold my U.S. 62RI Jazz recently to help fund my SECOND Lakland JO4.
