Okay, so I'm buying a beater bass, and a rep. gave me a website for a fender j bass saying that it was a Japan made J, is there anyway to confirm this? Here is the site [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] I know that it will be a beater bass ( I'm going to do some weird mods, but I'd still like an okay quality, so that's why I want japan made instead of mexican) So is it japan made? thanks

don't think so mate, it doesn't specify that its japanese and i'd assume it was a mexican fender by the specs ect.
