I always been told that Stingray is very heavey but i feel like the Stingray i have is very light compare to my Fender Jazz and the warwick i have before.

Is it me or i feel Stingray feels very light?

If you have a light Stingray, count your blessings... mine is pushing 11 lbs! I still love it though. Keeps me fit! 
I wouldn't say it's light, but mine certainly doesn't feel too heavy.

They do vary in weight, so you may have a lighter one. Also, your other basses could be heavy. A lot of Warwicks are heavy, depending on the model and type of wood. My Corvette Std 5 bubinga weights more than my Stingray, and while I wouldn't consider my Stingray to be light (medium range I would say), compared to my Warwick it feels quite a bit lighter.
that's funny, cause most of the ones i've tried didn't seem all that heavy to me. but idk, i guess anything wouldn't after you've owned an epiphone thunderbird. i heard that the sbmm were even heavier, and of course i see a ray34, pick it up. "what the???"... didn't feel anywhere over 9lbs.

i forgot to mention i play Peavey 6 string bass as well, i guess that bass didn't feel to heavy to me so i take it the stingray feel like heaven then lol

It's strenge, my new cort is rather lighter than my old Schecter 5 strings
i think it got something to do with Neck Dive on as well. My Stingray probably weight the same as my old warwick but the warwick have neck dive which means i'm consistantly battle with the bass to stay balance. The stingray balance so well that i don't have to bother about that.
Compared to a warwick a stingray will feel like a feather. But if you had something like a cort curbow(luthite body) it will feel like a railway sleeper. Warwicks just dont do light basses. Never held a Fender id call heavy though. Kinda surprised at that one.
Warwicks with Swamp Ash bodies are all right, but if you compare it to the bubinga 'Vette or a Thumb, the Stingray is quite possibly lighter.
probably like you guys said, warwick is heavy bass. i probably got use to the warwick weight so i'm all settle and cool with musicman. Also play a 6 string bass so it will feel light lol
I have a newer Ray and it did seem light to me compared to my J and P basses. It came in at 9 lbs exactly on pro digital scale. I think that some of the ash bodies are a lighter variety than others.
The lightest Ray I had was 8.3 lbs. I wish I'd never let that one go, was great to play all night.
