Is it possible to install precision pickup on a jazz bass?

nice! and when you do that, can you monitor between the pickups? and how does the bass sound?

It sounds great. It's a modded SX with Gotoh bridge, stock bridge pup and Washburn split pup in the pickguard and all I did was desolder the jazz pup and put the split in it's place. The hardest part was trimming the pickguard to fit properly.

I have been thinking about this mod for my jazz. I would want the split coil in the classic Precision "sweet spot" and be routed so that both pups would be interchangeable...anyne had experience with this in particular?

I said that because everyone seems to remove the neck J to put a P. Why not mod your Jbass to have a JPJ ???

IDK But I'm doing a JP bass. J at the neck and p at the bridge.
