Ever since today I've always called a P bass a "Percussion bass". Is it really called "precision bass" or are both terms acceptable? (btw I don't own P bass. Never had)

Okay...ever since Leo Fender invented the first bass guitar (electric...for that matter)
the P - stands for Precision lol. wanna take a guess why?
He put frets on the neck to make the bass playing be "precise" hence the name Precision-Bass.
And in my opinion is probably the best bass guitar alive...along with the jazz a close second.

Im sorry if I have upseted any of you with my stupidity. I dont know why i called it a Percussion bass. Isn't there a disease where you get words mixed up or something?

The disease may be a type of dyslexia.
