Is it worth it for me to get a Sansamp?

Due to running into some problems on stage, I have decided I no longer want to use the DI on my Acoustic B200H. The problem is I really like my current tone and would like to keep it as close a possible. Current set up, Boss CS-3, Boss GEB-7, Boss CEB-3 and a tuner (not sure how i ended up with all Boss pedals but oh well). Would it be worth it to buy a Sansamp and remove the GEB-7? or keep my current set up and just add the Sansamp driver and tweak it to get close to my current tone to DI out of. Or would it make more sense to buy a nice and simple DI box.

If this question makes any sense and you have any thoughts it would be appreciated.

I do like being mic'd instead of DI, even though it has only happened a few times in the last few years. But last weekend something in my rig decided it was going to screw up. I figured it was a cord but i tried 3 different cords from bass straight to my head. with no luck.(now hoping its just the input) And because my signal was coming from my head, I was getting no sound (well not the sound I wanted) to the PA either. This is when I decided I need to invest in a nice DI as well as solving my current problem.

I use an MXR M-80 Bass DI. Very similar to a Sansamp but you can control mids and it has a distortion channel.Either one should serve you well. I used to run through an Ampeg B2rE directly to the PA and on several occasions had sound guys tell me the signal was noisy. Ditched my amp setup and now run directly to the board with the M-80.

+1 If you like your sound the way it is now, you need to follow this advice. That being said, I love my SansAmp but that's because I like the way it colors my sound.

Yup. Most guys I know/see that use the BDDI aren't always FX heavy and just use the DI itself as an "effect" to get a somewhat "colored" sound to the board easily.

But to me, if you've already created your tonal palette, getting that "clean" to the board is imperative.
