Is it worth it for me to get a Sansamp?

That is why I like my Sansamp PBDDI and the Oxford:
I do not own a proper bass rig, so when I play with my band all I've to take with me is 2 of the 3: The Fender gig bag (Geddy Jazz og CV60 P bass inside) and the silver suitcase, or the Ric bass case (with a 4003 inside) and the suitcase

The suite-case is my pedal board:

Usually I walk to the rehearsal, its about 500m walking distance, and about 80-90m elevation.

I guess OP got the SA. I have one. In his shoes I'd just get a nice clean DI, no pre. Doesn't necessarily have to be all "Radial JDi", but if you can afford that high quality gear, do it.
