Is the D string the easiest to break

@GC34
If you wanted to have pretty much the same tensions for strings in the tuning you have indicated, based on each string in a garden variety set of 45-105 tuned E standard than the gauges as follows would be worth considering

C2/.065
E2/.055
G2/.045
B2/.035

I've tried C major 7th ie zig zag tuning/ alternating maj/min tuning on a bass but not in the guitar range as the OP is suggesting. On a BEAD bass you can tune up to C1, leave E as is, tune A and D down to G and B respectively. Didn't find any real practical benefit to it for the typical role of the bass as it makes octaves and 5ths more difficult. Doesn't tell me the breaking tension.
This is, what, the sixth thread you've posted with a variation on the same question? Nobody has an answer that satisfies you. We've done all your homework for you that we possibly can. Nobody wants to uptune their own basses on your behalf.

Just freaking do it. Blaze a new musical trail. Wear protective gear. Make a video. Report back when you have something to report.

This thread is done.

Could a mod please make that official?
This is going too far. I ceased to be concerned with the OP's interest one thread ago, but I don't feel personally harmed by them or their posts in any shape or form. Besides, I dread the day the right to exist of a thread I started will be decided by a mob. But by all means click on the report button, and let them decide if forum rules have been violated.

Liutaio Mottola Lutherie Information Website According to this calculator the D string is at 62% of breaking tension. G is at 59.

Having not broken a string since I started playing electric bass in 1967, my response is to quote the sage Garfield:
