This is the first half stack i'm buying and i'm getting a deal on it so I was wondering if the GK backline 600 head paired with the 410BLX II 4x10 cab is a good quality amp or not? I know GK makes good amps but i want other bassists opinions

It really depends what you are using it for and what you compare it with. Will it suffice for playing with bands and do gigs? Sure it will. Is it the best sounding amp out there? well.. no.
I have the Backline 600 head and it is great but I dont have much to say about the backline cabs. I had the 115blx cabinet and it wasnt too great to be honest. farted easily, IMO too easily for a fifteen. compare it to anything behringer and it will definatly be better. as for the 410, it could be a diamond in the rough, as I have not used it.
