Is this a scale?

--------------5--7---------------------------
------5-6-7-----------------------------------
-5-8-----------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------

Dm pentatonic scale with blue note b5

One of the most common scales used in Rock, Blues...

it's not the entire scale, but a sort of collections of notes from the A harmonic minor scale. specifically the 4th, 6th, #7th, 8th, 3rd/10th, and 4th/11th notes in the scale.

scale to 11th degree:
G --------------------------4--5--7-
D --------------------6--7----------
A -----------5--7--8----------------
E --5--7--8-------------------------

please, anyone with more music theory skill than me, feel free to correct my mistakes :ninja:

While noodling today I found some notes that sound tonally "correct" together. Any idea what it is? Sounds scary.

---------5-7-
----6-7------
5-8----------
-------------

Fmin6 Pentatonic starting on D.

You can play that scale over: F min6/9, Dmin7(b5), Bb13, G11(b9), Ab Maj13(#11).

If you add the A, then D minor Blues like it was suggested before
