Is this a scam?

No stamp on the back of the headstock, low price for a thumb, new seller - most likely a fake, possibly a scam of some kind. Careful, seems too good to be true.

Ask the seller for the serial number and if there is one, check it with Warwick either by their website or email the owner, he will get back to you on this.

The serial should be on the inside of the cover for the electronic cavity.

In case you are wondering, this is the stamp I am talking about on the top of the back of the headstock - it should say either Teambuilt or masterbuilt, depending on the price point of this exact model.

I agree with all of the above.

I’m not necessarily looking to buy, was only browsing.

Yes- I have a Warwick and am familiar with with the stamp.

if it is a fake, it’s a commendable looking one!

What’s wrong with it as far as authenticity? There is a S/N stamped at the base of the headstock reverse…it’s faint but present.

This fits the profile of the scam of the month. I see these every day on Reverb - in brass and woodwinds, where I keep an eye. New member, no sales or 1 or 2 piddly transactions in the last few days, NICE axe, priced too low, shipping too low, seller is in Europe. I think they are hunting for US buyers and hope there will be enough time to get the payout from Reverb before the buyer finally decides the package isn't coming or arrives with a couple of bibles in empty box, etc.

What a bummer that will be. It is true that the buyer will be protected by Reverb but they will still be out their money for several weeks or longer.

I bought some damaged stuff from reverb, and paypal send my claim to reverb and reverb never resolved anything. Buyer refured return and I got scammed. Reverb is all automated and did nothing and paypal were sending me back to reverb.
I lost less than $100, but still a loss. Now Im very cautioned on reverb.
Ebay is waaay easier on claims.
