Double Bass Is this a suitable hardcase for flying

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the advice. To be honest i thought this was the case. I'm coming from Ireland or U.K. so driving is out of the question . I'll try to get a loan of one!

Hi Conor, if you have ever looked behind the stage of the National Concert Hall in Dublin, there are at least 8 hard white Double Bass flight cases. I doubt they get much use. You could try contacting them..
Also, can you recommend a Double Bass luthier in England?

I recall seeing a post on another message board (maybe Reddit?) of a bass in one of these cases getting absolutely demolished in a flight. Wouldn't recommend.
