Is this Ash or Bubinga?

I bought this second hand awhile back ago in a music store. Not much detail about the bass except it is passive version of the 4 string corvette.

Was wondering is it ash or bubinga? I'm can't tell the type of wood so i just want to confirm the type thats all. The bass have no finish on it so i guess i need to wax it using the warwick wax.

seems to be ash, doesnt have the same grain as bubinga which is more like mahog or pommele

My vote ash. Isn't bubinga darker? Or is that the stain?

Looks like ash to me.

Ash will look almost like red oak, without the possibly red color and large rays. That is, there will be pretty sizable holes in the end grain. See the 16th page of Invalid Link Removed for a really nice comparison.
